The only drivetrain available for the new crossover is a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder unit. The same unit is producing power to a smaller C-HR. The 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross offers more juice – 169 hp and 150 lb-ft of torque. The new model is returning better gas mileage and AWD is optional. Even with this setup you are getting 30 mpg combined.
A hybrid configuration is also available. For the Rav4, such a system makes 40+ mpg and Corolla Cross beats it with 45/38 mpg. A PHEV is considered for the Corolla Cross. Like the sedan with the same name, the crossover might get the GR tuning and a performance edition. Nevertheless, don’t expect some huge outputs.

The base MSRP for the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross stays under $25,000. We expect a pickup truck to be available at a similar level. The LE is a $2,000 upgrade, while the XLE will be around $29,000.
